We have secured a tarmac venue at the lorry training area on Llandow. See Event Dates for details. The first one is on Saturday 18 November 2000. Tal Leyshon of Dragon Leasing has kindly sponsored a trophy for the best competitor over the six planned Llandow tarmac events. Results as follows:

There is going to be a mass reunion of past and present BAC members on 22 September 2000. We expect about 150 people. It is the time to renew old acquaintances and meet the new members, so put the date in your diary now!! For ticket enquiries, please email me. The evening was a great success with 113 people attending. Many stories were exchanged and everyone had a good time. Special thanks goes to John James for all the time and effort he put in to organise the reunion, rumour has it that he may be organising a reunion next year to mark the 40th anniversary of the Club.

Terry Donovan is going to put on a PCT down Ewenny Woods with the traditional BBQ. Scheduled date is Sunday 17 September 2000. Help to put the event on is desperately needed. Volunteers please step forward. Cancelled due to the petrol shortage.

BAC has secured a stand at the Classic Car Show at Pencoed Show Ground on 7 May 2000. Anyone willing to help on the day or to provide a car for show please contact me. On a fine sunny day, we all enjoyed ourselves watching the GP, eating from the BBQ and drinking beer. Alot of interest was shown by the public and hopefully we have brought BAC into prominence. Thanks to all members who attended and brought their cars for exhibition.

The first Gymkhana of the year is to be held on 22 April 2000 at Ewenny Woods. Be there or be square. Unfortunately due to the inclement weather, we were unable to run the event. However, several members went down to the woods to recce the area.

Next event is a Nav Scatter on 4 April 2000 being organised by Julian Howitt. Start is at Rydycar Leisure Centre, Merthyr at 8-00pm- CANCELLED.
